In this body of work, I explore the microscopic world, revealing the intricate beauty of subjects that are often invisible to the naked eye. Using techniques like layering, masking, and high dynamic range (HDR), I bring these minute details into sharp focus, transforming them into striking visual compositions. Each photograph begins with capturing multiple exposures, allowing me to reveal the full depth and complexity of the subject. Through layering, I combine these images to enhance texture and dimensionality, while masking enables me to selectively highlight key elements within the frame.
HDR is then used to amplify the tonal range, revealing the subtle nuances and fine details that would otherwise go unnoticed. Rich in texture and complexity yet abstract in its interpretation, and by pushing the boundaries of scale and perception, my work invites viewers to contemplate the hidden patterns and structures in nature, offering a deeper understanding of the often-overlooked beauty that surrounds us.
