Riley Lake is a 22-year-old student at the University of North Texas, set to graduate in December 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. Originally from Plano, Texas, Riley has traveled extensively, which has deepened a passion for exploring diverse cultures and experiences.

The journey with photography began at age 16, when Riley received their first camera in 2018, establishing an instant connection that allowed for the communication of emotions and perspectives through visual storytelling. Throughout life, Riley has been profoundly influenced by the surrounding environment, particularly by nature, animals, and architecture.

Reimagining the world and conveying their unique perspective has been Riley's goal since they started using a camera. By employing color, perspective, alternative processes, scale, and composition, Riley aims to encourage viewers to think differently and take a moment to appreciate the narratives being portrayed.
